This mini zine features a short excerpt of John Berger’s writing on impertinence from his 2016 book Confabulations (referenced below). It offers a fragment of his fierce, tender wisdom on refusing hierarchies, staying alert to the world, and finding kinship.

Each zine is hand-produced: the text was typed on a typewriter, enlarged, and collaged onto a cyanotype-printed blue background, giving it a rich, tactile, one-of-a-kind feel.

Professionally printed on A4 135gsm recycled uncoated paper, and hand folded, the zine comes tucked into its own little A7 envelope — perfect for keeping safe or gifting to a friend who might appreciate Berger’s clear-eyed encouragement.

Includes a brief excerpt from John Berger’s Confabulations (2016), reproduced here in homage and for personal, artistic use.
